The Welland NGBA Warrior U13 Picton team finished 4th in the U14 Div. 1 OBA Championships.  Coach Picton’s team has played up for the last two years and this team showed tremendous determination to finish 4th in Division 1.  Going into the OBA Championships as the #8 seed, Welland beat #4 Brantford #38-33, lost to Silver Medalist Stoney Creek 50-33, then beat #5 Pelham 39-38 to set up a Bronze Medal game against #3 Windsor.  In the Bronze Medal Game, Welland came up just short losing 45-43.  These younger athlete’s should be very proud of their accomplishments this year!  Well done girls!  #WellandNGBAWarriors, #OntarioBasketball, #NiagaraGirlsBasketballAcademy
