The Welland NGBA Warrior U16 team capped off a successful OBA season (19-1) by capturing the Div. 1 OBA Championships in Ottawa this past weekend.  Despite losing two starters on Saturday morning to injury, the Warriors showed their dominance with a 55-37 victory over the #2 seeded Stoney Creek NYB in the Gold Medal Game.  Welland finished first in Pool A with wins over #4 seeded Nepean, #5 seeded Transway and #8 seeded MUMBA.  Congratulations girls on a successful Winter Season.  Next up for the Warriors is a full AAU-US schedule from May – July. #WellandNGBAWarriors, #NGBA, #OBA, #OntarioBasketball
